A UX audit studio reviews your live product or website, finds what's slowing your users down and tells you what to fix first. Two of the five below publish an audit price: Eleken at a fixed $6,599 and Oddit from $2,500.
Sign-ups are fine. Activation isn't. Everyone on the team has a theory, and nobody agrees. An outside review settles the argument faster than another meeting, though it only tells you where to look.
We run audits too, so this list isn't ranked. Studios are in alphabetical order, us included, and nobody paid to be on it.
How we picked
A studio made the list if:
- its own site offers a UX audit or review of a live product or website
- it says it works with startups, SaaS, AI or fast-growing product and ecommerce teams
- it delivers findings you can act on, not only a score or a checklist
- it's a studio or agency, not a solo freelancer
We left out freelancers, marketplace listings and agencies that mention audits only in blog posts about other people's prices. Prices, ratings and clients come from each studio's own site or Clutch profile.
The five studios at a glance
Two of the five publish an audit price: Eleken, a fixed $6,599, and Oddit, conversion reports from $2,500. Foundey, Scenic West and Hexcode publish none.
| Studio | Based | Best for |

| Foundey | San Francisco, New York, São Paulo, Montreal | Audits for startups, SaaS and AI teams |
| Hexcode (us) | Indore, India | Human-reviewed AI audits, scoped on a call |
| Oddit | Not stated on its site | Conversion reports from $2,500 |
| Scenic West | Nashville, TN | B2B SaaS audits with research |
The numbers behind it
| Studio | Clutch | Named clients |
|---|---|---|
| Eleken | 4.9 (100+ reviews, per its site) | Aampe, Hubble Network, Frontend AI, Lambda |
| Foundey | Profile, no reviews shown | Traycer, CodeRabbit, Sero AI (YC S23), Athina (YC W23) |
| Hexcode (us) | Profile, no reviews yet | Serval, LlamaIndex, Riveter (YC F24), Haven, Drizz, Jooba |
| Oddit | Not checked | Roo & You |
| Scenic West | Not checked | REACH, Bartesian, AirDeck, HireRoad |
Figures from each studio's own site, checked . Where a rating says "per its site", the studio states it and we haven't checked it on Clutch. Where the Clutch column says "Not checked", we haven't looked at the studio's Clutch profile. Named clients are ones the studio names on its own site.
Notes on each studio
Eleken
Its audit page lists one fixed price, $6,599, agreed before work starts and equal to a month of a senior SaaS designer's time. It says a focused audit takes 2 to 3 weeks and comes with annotated screenshots, a severity rating for every issue, a prioritised roadmap and a personal walkthrough. The page cites 100+ reviews on Clutch.
Good fit if: you want one price agreed before you start and a report your team can act on.
Foundey
Its guide to UX audit services is written for startups, SaaS teams and AI companies. It lists heuristic evaluation, user flow analysis, an information architecture review and an accessibility check, with a one-page executive summary, annotated findings and a prioritised roadmap. The guide gives market price ranges, not its own audit price, and its sprint is $2,000 a week.
Good fit if: you're a startup or SaaS team that may want to carry on into weekly design sprints after the audit.
Not a fit if: you want a fixed audit price from the studio itself.
Hexcode (us)
A 15-person studio in Indore, founded in 2020, with US overlap until 1pm PT. Our services page lists hourly work for audits and advisory, and our blog describes an AI-assisted audit, reviewed by senior UX consultants, that we delivered in a day for a healthcare founder. We don't publish an audit price, and we have no Clutch reviews yet. Read how we run an audit in a day
Good fit if: you want a fast, scoped review of a website or product from the team that could then redesign it.
Not a fit if: you want a fixed audit price on a page, or user testing inside the audit. Eleken publishes a fixed price and Scenic West lists unmoderated user testing.
Oddit
Its homepage describes CRO and UX audits for fast-growing brands and lists conversion reports starting at $2,500, plus a free teardown and one free redesigned section. It states no location, and the one client we could read is Roo & You, from a testimonial.
Good fit if: you run an ecommerce or brand site and want a low-cost report before committing to a redesign.
Not a fit if: you want a logged-in product audited, which its homepage doesn't mention.
Scenic West
A Nashville studio that says it has worked with B2B SaaS teams for over a decade. Its audit page lists a screen-by-screen teardown, stakeholder interviews, heatmap and session recording analysis, a product opportunity summary and, where it applies, unmoderated user testing. It publishes no price.
Good fit if: you're a B2B SaaS team that wants research in the audit, not only an expert review.
Audit first or redesign first?
Audit first if you know something is wrong but not what. Redesign first only if you already know. Eleken sells the audit at a fixed $6,599 and Oddit's reports start at $2,500, so you can price the audit before you commit to a redesign.
| What you need | What fits | Watch for |
|---|---|---|
| A quick check before launch | A focused review (Eleken lists 2 to 3 weeks at a fixed $6,599) | Which flows and how many screens are in scope |
| Low conversion on a brand or ecommerce site | A conversion-led report (Oddit lists reports from $2,500) | Whether it covers logged-in product flows |
| Churn or drop-off inside a SaaS product | An audit with research (Scenic West lists session recordings and user testing) | Who recruits the users, and how long it takes |
| An audit that leads into design work | A studio that also designs (Eleken, Foundey and Hexcode all do) | Whether the audit fee counts toward later work |
Six questions to ask before you sign
- Which flows and screens does the price cover?
- Who does the review, and how many hours do they spend on it?
- Do you use analytics, session recordings or user testing, or only expert review?
- What do we get: a report, annotated screens, a roadmap or a walkthrough?
- How do you rank findings, so we can tell a blocker from an annoyance?
- Does the audit fee count toward design work if we continue?
Questions
How much does a UX audit cost for a startup?
Two of the five publish an audit price. Eleken charges a fixed $6,599 and Oddit's conversion reports start at $2,500. Scenic West, Foundey and Hexcode publish none, and Foundey's weekly design sprint is $2,000.
How long does a UX audit take?
Eleken says a focused audit takes 2 to 3 weeks, and we delivered one in a day for a healthcare founder, which is our own figure. We didn't find a timeline for the audit itself on the pages we read for Scenic West, Foundey or Oddit, so ask for one in writing.
What does a UX audit include?
A review of your flows and screens, with findings ranked by severity and a plan for fixing them. Eleken lists annotated screenshots, a severity rating for every issue and a roadmap, and Scenic West adds a screen-by-screen teardown, stakeholder interviews and session recording analysis.
Can AI do a UX audit?
It can draft one, but someone senior has to check it. We use an AI-assisted process that senior UX consultants review, and Eleken's page describes an AI-generated list as something you still have to fact-check.
Why isn't this list ranked?
Because we're on it. Ranking a list we compete in would tell you more about us than about the studios. So it's alphabetical, with the facts we could check.
