Our approach

The build is where good design usually gets lost.

Spacing drifts, interactions get cut, and the live product looks like a cousin of the Figma file. We fix that by not having a handoff at all.

The cost of waiting

What a build that drifts from the design costs.

Most teams feel this after the first agency handoff. It shows up in four places.

  • 01

    Production doesn't match the design

You approved one thing and shipped another. Every gap is a small trust cost with the people using it.

  • 02

    Marketing waits on engineering

A new page or a copy change sits in a backlog behind product work. The site stops keeping up with the company.

  • 03

    It's slow, and search notices

Heavy pages and messy markup hurt rankings and conversions long before anyone flags them.

  • 04

You're locked into whoever built it

Custom code nobody else understands means every change goes back to the same vendor at their pace.

What you get

What's included in development.

From a marketing site to a full product, built and looked after by one team.

  • 01

    Webflow and Framer builds

Marketing sites built to the pixel, with a CMS structure your team can edit on their own.

  • 02

    Full-stack web apps

Frontend and backend for products that need more than a no-code tool can give them.

  • 03

    Mobile apps

iOS and Android apps, built from the same designs by the same team.

  • 04

    API integrations

Connecting your product or site to the tools you already run: CRM, payments, analytics, booking.

  • 05

    Performance and SEO

Fast pages, clean markup and the technical SEO that lets the work get found.

  • 06

    QA and maintenance

Tested across browsers and devices before launch, and looked after once it's live.

Process and timeline

How a development project runs.

Built in two-week sprints with a demo every Friday. You always know what shipped and what's next.

4 to 12 weeks

for most website builds

Freebean and Rayhawk shipped in 4 weeks, Riveter in 6, and the 40+ page Portless site in under 12. Web and mobile apps are scoped by sprint after the first call.

  • “I churned through 7 Framer / Web Dev / Design agencies before finding Shabbir & Hexcode. For the first time - we are able to get high quality work done at startup speed. It is a legitimate breath of fresh air - could not recommend more”

Who it's for

Who development is for.

We build what we design, and we build other teams' designs too. These are the projects we take on most.

  • 01

Marketing sites in Webflow or Framer

The design is done, or we're doing it. You want it live, fast, and editable by your team.

  • 02

    Rebuilds and replatforms

The current site is slow or painful to change. We rebuild it on a stack that scales, like the Webflow rebuild for ScalixAI.

  • 03

    Web apps

A product that needs real frontend and backend engineering, built with the designers in the room.

  • 04

    Mobile apps

iOS and Android builds for products designed here or elsewhere.

  • 05

    Ongoing development

A dev pod in your Slack working off weekly priorities, for teams shipping continuously.

FAQ

Questions founders ask before we start.

Not here? Ask us on a call. It's 30 minutes and you'll talk to a founder, not a salesperson.

How long does a development project take?

Most website builds take 4 to 12 weeks depending on size. Freebean and Rayhawk shipped in 4 weeks, Riveter in 6, and the 40+ page Portless site in under 12. Web and mobile apps are scoped sprint by sprint after the first call.

Which stack do you build on?

Webflow and Framer for marketing sites, and full-stack code such as Next.js for web apps and custom builds. We pick based on your stage and on who will maintain it after launch.

Can you build from designs made by another team?

Yes. We'll review the files first and flag anything that will be expensive or fragile to build, so there are no surprises mid-sprint.

Will our team be able to edit the site after launch?

Yes. Marketing sites ship with a CMS structure your team can edit, and we walk them through it at handover. You own the code and the accounts.

Do you handle maintenance after launch?

Yes. Maintenance is part of the development service, either as a retainer or hourly, depending on how much you ship.

How much does development cost?

We don't publish price tiers because scope changes the number too much. There are three ways to work with us: a fixed-scope project with a fixed timeline and price, a monthly retainer, or hourly for audits and advisory. Book a 30-minute call and you'll have a scoped proposal with deliverables, timeline and cost after it.

Who will we actually work with?

Senior designers and developers, and a founder on every project. No account managers and no handoff to juniors after the sales call. You get a shared Slack channel with the people doing the work.

Three ways to work with us. All built for how founders actually operate.

No 12-month retainers with vague scopes. No mystery invoices. Pick the model that fits your stage, change it when your stage changes.

Project Based
