Website and product design for B2B SaaS companies whose product is better than it looks.

Marketing sites and product UX from one senior team. UserExperior's redesign preceded its DevRev acquisition, and Portless got a 40+ page site in under 12 weeks.

What does a design partner do for a B2B SaaS company?

A design partner fixes the two places a SaaS buyer judges you: the marketing site and the product. That means a site structured around buyer intent, a product interface with clear hierarchy and a design system, and a build your marketing team can run without developers. We shipped a 40+ page SaaS site for Portless in under 12 weeks.

Also worked with Delve, Pinpoint, Fuel Cycle, Cyanergy.

The cost of waiting

Why SaaS sites and products undersell what the team built.

The product works and customers stay. The design is what makes new buyers hesitate. These are the patterns we keep fixing.

  • 01

The product looks like engineers built it

UserExperior's platform was functional but had no design system, no hierarchy and inconsistent patterns across modules. The filters were powerful and nearly unusable.

  • 02

The site is missing the pages buyers expect

Portless's old site had no solutions pages, service breakdowns, how-it-works or calculators. Visitors couldn't tell in 10 seconds why it differed from a traditional 3PL.

  • 03

Marketing carries what the site should

When the site is thin, marketing makes up for it. At Portless, trust, education and conversion were all leaking at the website layer.

  • 04

One page can't sell to a buying committee

Drizz targeted engineering leads and QA managers at companies with procurement processes. That audience browses, cross-references and validates. A single landing page gave them nothing to validate with.

What you get

What we do for B2B SaaS companies.

Site and product, strategy through launch, done by one team.

  • 01

    Page strategy and content direction

Every page mapped to a buyer intent, with a short questionnaire per page so copy and layout get worked out together. That's how Portless avoided the design versus content deadlock.

  • 02

    Site architecture

The page types SaaS buyers look for: solutions, how it works, service breakdowns, comparisons and calculators, organised so each page answers one question.

  • 03

    Product UX and information architecture

Research with your customers and customer success team, then a rebuilt structure around the jobs users are trying to do, as we did for UserExperior's filters, table and dashboard.

  • 04

    Design systems

Type, color and component patterns defined before screens are finished, delivered in Figma with component docs, interaction notes and responsive specs.

  • 05

    Webflow or Framer build

Built from reusable components so your marketing team can launch pages and run experiments without a ticket to engineering.

  • 06

    Illustration, motion and calculators

Custom illustrations and scroll animation for abstract products, and calculators built inside the Webflow editor so marketing can still edit them.

Testimonials

What SaaS teams say about working with us.

  • “Massive congratulations and thanks to you and the team for helping us launch the new site. We are thrilled with the results so far and the team is very excited by the launch and how good everything looks.”

  • “We started with Hexcode to build our website. As we grew, they were right there to help us rethink and reposition it for the next stage. They just get what we're trying to say and know how to turn it into a website that actually feels like us.”

Who it's for

Who this is for.

The B2B SaaS teams we work with most.

  • 01

Seed to Series B SaaS companies

Funded teams whose site and product were built for the first version of the company, not the one selling today.

  • 02

Products that outgrew their first interface

Platforms like UserExperior, where features piled up faster than the design system and the interface started to undersell the product.

  • 03

Teams with a site that sells too little

Companies like Portless, with a fast-growing business and a website that can't explain it in 10 seconds.

  • 04

Companies heading into a raise or an exit

UserExperior was in acquisition conversations when it redesigned. A product and site that look like the company you are help in those rooms.

FAQ

Questions founders ask before we start.

Not here? Ask us on a call. It's 30 minutes and you'll talk to a founder, not a salesperson.

Do you design both the marketing site and the product?

Yes, and it helps to do both with one team. We redesigned UserExperior's web app and shipped Portless's 40+ page site. The same designers carry the brand from the site into the product so nothing gets reinterpreted.

How long does a B2B SaaS website take?

Drizz launched in 4 weeks. Portless was 40+ pages and shipped in under 12, a scope that typically runs 20 to 24 weeks. You get a detailed timeline before we start.

What if we don't have copy or finished designs yet?

That's normal. For Portless we wrote a short questionnaire for every page covering audience, intent, objections and proof. Their answers went straight into wireframes with content direction, so structure and copy developed together.

Can our marketing team edit the site after launch?

Yes. We build from reusable components in Webflow or Framer, so your team can add pages and run experiments without engineering. Portless's calculators are editable in the Webflow editor too.

How do you redesign a product without guessing?

We start with research. For UserExperior that meant a founder walkthrough, interviews with the customer success team and sessions watching existing customers use the product. Designs are delivered in Figma with component docs, interaction notes and responsive specs for your engineers.

How much does it cost?

We don't publish price tiers because scope changes the number too much. There are three ways to work with us: a fixed-scope project with a fixed timeline and price, a monthly retainer, or hourly for audits and advisory. Book a 30-minute call and you'll have a scoped proposal with deliverables, timeline and cost after it.

Who will actually work on our project?

Senior designers and developers, and a founder on every project. No account managers and no handoff to juniors after the sales call. You get a shared Slack channel with the people doing the work.

Three ways to work with us. All built for how founders actually operate.

No 12-month retainers with vague scopes. No mystery invoices. Pick the model that fits your stage, change it when your stage changes.

Project Based

Fixed scope, fixed timeline, fixed price. For launches, MVPs, brand identities, and marketing sites, with a senior team running it end to end and weekly demos. Start here if you already know what you need built.

Retainer

A dedicated design and dev pod inside your Slack, working off weekly priorities. No scope theatre. Start here if you're shipping continuously and tired of managing freelancers.

Hourly

Direct access to our seniors for advisory, audits, design sprints, and technical reviews. No minimum commitment. Start here if you want an expert opinion before committing to something bigger.
