Web design and development for Haven, shipped at startup speed
How we helped a fintech accounting company fix its website after seven agencies.
About Haven
Haven runs the full finance back office for startups and SMBs. That covers bookkeeping, business taxes, R&D credits, invoicing, bill pay, and reporting, with CPAs available right inside Slack. Their average support response time is 4 minutes.
Their website couldn't move at that pace. After going through seven agencies, Haven came to Hexcode for Framer website design and development that could keep up with the business and match the quality of a serious fintech brand.

The Problem
Haven had worked with seven Framer, web dev, and design agencies. Each time, the work fell short on quality, speed, or both. For a company that promises customers a reply in minutes, waiting days on a website update was hard to accept.
Inconsistent visual language. Components, fonts, colors, and illustrations changed from page to page. The site felt stitched together.
Too few pages. Haven serves startups, agencies, recruiting firms, e-commerce brands, PC-MSOs, multi-entity businesses, crypto teams, and law firms. None of them had a page written for them.
Missing SaaS structure. Buyers expect solution pages they can explore before booking a call. Those pages didn't exist yet.
Slow turnaround. Every round of changes with past agencies dragged on.
What does Framer website design for a fintech company involve? Framer website design for a fintech company covers the visual system, page structure, and build of a marketing site inside Framer. For a finance brand, the site also has to earn trust quickly, explain complex services in plain language, and stay easy for the marketing team to update without a developer.

Our Approach
Audit. We went through the live site page by page and logged every inconsistency in components, type, color, and illustration.
System cleanup. We consolidated everything into one set of reusable Framer components, a single type scale, a defined color palette, and one illustration style.
Page expansion. Working with Haven's team, we planned the industry and solution pages a SaaS buyer expects and designed each one on the cleaned-up system.
Framer build. We built every page directly in Framer, so approved designs went live without a separate dev handoff.
Working rhythm. We stayed in close contact with Haven throughout and kept our response time under 15 minutes.

Key Design Decisions
1. Fix the system before adding pages
Problem: Adding new pages on an inconsistent base would only spread the problem further.
Solution: We started with a consistency pass. Buttons, cards, section layouts, headings, colors, and illustrations became reusable Framer components with clear rules.
Why it worked: Every page built after that inherited the same look by default. The site started to read as one brand, and new pages took less time to produce.
2. A shared layout for every industry page
Problem: A recruiting firm and a crypto team worry about very different things in their books. One generic "who we serve" section couldn't speak to both.
Solution: We designed a repeatable industry page layout with room for industry-specific pain points, product visuals, testimonials, and FAQs. Startups see runway and burn tracking up front. PC-MSOs see per-entity and consolidated views.
Why it worked: Visitors land on a page that talks about their business in their terms. Haven can also launch a new industry page by filling in a proven structure.
3. Solution pages that show the product
Problem: Haven sells expert service and software together. Prospects wanted to see the platform before handing over their books.
Solution: Solution pages lead with real product UI and walk through how each feature works. The Multi-Entity View page, for example, moves step by step from connecting entities to viewing consolidated reports.
Why it worked: Showing the dashboard answers "what am I actually getting" early. For a finance buyer deciding who to trust, that clarity shortens the path to a booked call.
4. Speed built into the working process
Problem: Waiting was Haven's biggest frustration with every past agency.
Solution: We kept our response time under 15 minutes for the entire engagement and treated each feedback round as a priority.
Why it worked: Haven holds itself to a 4-minute reply time with its own customers. Working with a partner on a similar clock meant decisions got made while context was fresh, and pages shipped without long gaps between rounds.

The Outcome
Seven agencies in, Haven finally got quality and speed from the same team.
One consistent brand. Components, typography, colors, and illustrations now follow a single system across the site.
30+ new pages shipped. Dedicated pages for Haven's industries and solutions, giving each buyer a clear entry point.
Under 15-minute response time. Held across the full engagement.
Easier to scale. New pages come together from existing Framer components.
The part we can't say about ourselves
I churned through 7 Framer / Web Dev / Design agencies before finding Shabbir & Hexcode. For the first time - we are able to get high quality work done at startup speed. It is a legitimate breath of fresh air - could not recommend more.
