An India-based design studio gives a US startup senior design work at Indian rates, usually $25 to $99 an hour on Clutch. The tradeoff is time zones, so the real question is how many of your working hours each studio actually covers.
The fear: you send feedback at 5pm, wake up to the wrong thing built beautifully, and lose a day every round. The reality: with three or four hours of overlap and one good daily sync, the overnight gap becomes the reason work is waiting for you in the morning.
We're an Indian studio that works with US founders, so this list isn't ranked. Studios are in alphabetical order, us included, and nobody paid to be on it.
How we picked
A studio made the list if:
- it's based in India
- it names US clients or offers US working hours or a US office
- it does UI/UX, product or website design for startups and software companies
- it's a studio, not a solo freelancer or a dev shop with a design add-on
Ratings, minimums and rates come from each studio's Clutch profile. Client names come from each studio's own site or profile.

Notes on each studio
925Studios
A remote-first product design studio registered in India, working with funded AI and B2B SaaS teams in the US. It designs product UI, marketing sites and design systems, often in Framer. It's the only studio here that publishes a starting budget.
Good fit if: you want product and marketing site from one team on a smaller budget.
Bricx
Founded in 2023 in New Delhi and focused only on AI and B2B SaaS. It names the most YC clients of anyone here, with batches, and its Clutch profile lists EST and PST among the time zones it works in. Projects on Clutch mostly sit between $10,000 and $50,000.
Good fit if: you're a YC or seed-stage SaaS team that wants a studio used to that pace.
Hexcode (us)
A 15-person studio in Indore, founded in 2020, with overlap until 1pm PT and a design and dev pod in your Slack. Our US clients include Serval, Haven, Pinpoint and Freebean. No published price and no Clutch reviews yet.
Good fit if: you want brand, site and product from one team and a founder on every project.
Not a fit if: you need someone online through your whole US afternoon.

Lollypop
One of the largest studios here, part of Terralogic, with 200+ designers and 43 Clutch reviews averaging 4.7. Clutch reviewers describe projects from $10,000 to over $100,000, across UX, branding and web.
Good fit if: you need a big team that can staff several workstreams at once.
NetBramha
A Bengaluru studio founded in 2008 with an enterprise-heavy client list and a 4.9 Clutch rating across 28 reviews. Its $25,000 minimum is the highest here, alongside Bricx. Some reviewers note it's priced above other Indian studios.
Good fit if: you're selling into enterprise and want a studio that's designed for that buyer.
Parallel
The only studio here with a US office, in Austin, alongside its Bangalore team. It focuses on product UX and interfaces for AI and B2B SaaS, and works inside your Slack and sprint cadence.
Good fit if: you want an India cost base and a US-side contact.
Ungrammary
A Mumbai UX/UI studio founded by two IIT alumni, around a decade old, with clients like Adobe, Brooks and Fossil. Clutch reviewers praise its project management and fintech and SaaS depth, and a few wish it pushed back harder.
Good fit if: you have complex flows, like fintech or health, and want a structured research-led process.
Making the time zones work
India is 9.5 to 10.5 hours ahead of the US East Coast and 12.5 to 13.5 hours ahead of the West Coast, depending on daylight saving. Overlap is the number that matters, not location.
| Setup | What it looks like | Works when |
|---|---|---|
| Morning overlap | The studio works late; you get two to four live hours in your morning | You want a daily sync and same-day answers |
| Async handoff | You review at end of day; new work is waiting next morning | Feedback is clear and written, and nothing needs a live call |
| US-side contact | A US-based lead runs calls; the India team builds | You want a contact in your hours and budget allows it |
Six questions to ask an Indian studio
- How many of my working hours will you cover, and who exactly is online then?
- Will I talk to the designers, or to a project manager who relays?
- Can I see a US client's work at my stage, and talk to that founder?
- Do you invoice in USD, and what are the payment terms?
- Who owns the files and source, and where do they live?
- What happens if the senior person who pitched me leaves the project?
Questions
How much does an Indian design studio cost for a US startup?
On Clutch, the studios here list $25 to $99 an hour. Minimum projects range from $10,000 to $25,000 where set, and 925Studios publishes a $7,000 starting budget.
Is the time difference a problem?
It can be. Ask each studio how many of your working hours it covers. Two to four hours of overlap plus a daily sync is usually enough; zero overlap means every round of feedback costs a day.
Which Indian studios work with YC companies?
On this list, Bricx names Writesonic (YC S21) and Gigamind (YC S26), and Hexcode names Riveter (YC F24). Others may have YC clients they don't name.
Do Indian studios also build, or only design?
Some do both. Hexcode and 925Studios design and build websites, and several others list development or Framer and Webflow builds. Ask before you sign, because a handoff to a separate dev team adds weeks.
Why isn't this list ranked?
Because we're on it. Ranking a list we compete in would tell you more about us than about the studios. So it's alphabetical, with the facts we could check.
